Argentina–Spain relations
Argentina–Spain relations refers to the bilateral relationship of Argentina and Spain. Argentina was a colony of Spain until 1810. Both countries established diplomatic relations on May 16, 1811.
Argentina has an embassy in Madrid, and two consulates-general in Barcelona and Vigo and two consulates in Cádiz and Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Spain has an embassy in Buenos Aires and 4 consulates-general in Bahía Blanca, Córdoba, Mendoza and Rosario, and 26 consular agencies and 54 vice honorary consulates disseminated all over the country.
